This yoga series by Lucy Wang embraces the wisdom and renewal of yoga, providing a space for your body to reconnect and find its balance. The practices are designed to support self-care through every moment of your day.
Earth (Yin Yoga)
Earth practice is a yin practice which nurtures the body’s deeper, more subtle systems, and demands a dynamic attention that strengthens the mind. Through passive, longer-held postures, we invite a gentle release of tension in our connective tissues—the fascia, ligaments, and joints—creating space and improving flexibility from within. This yin sequence offers a grounding balance to ease the body and improve vitality, inviting you to connect with the deep sense of rooted calm like the vast and steady rhythms of the earth. Breathing techniques are integrated to cultivate a sense of inner calm. Recommended supportive props: a bolster or pillow, and/or blanket. This course is ideal for a 50-minute or 80-minute session.

Moon
Embrace the quiet energy of the night with Moon, a Vinyasa practice with cooling flowing movements. In contrast to the linear movements of a Sun Salutation, this class cycles through lateral sequences in Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar). We move with the breath through poses like Crescent Moon, Goddess, and Triangle, opening the hips and side body to release accumulated tension. This practice offers the fluid, dance-like quality, yet its focus is on introspection and nurturing, making it distinct from the deep stillness of Yin or the gentle holds of Milky Way. Moon practice is a moving meditation to wash away the day, ideal for practice when the moon is present.

Sun
Inspired by the timeless Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), Sun is a harmonious 30-minute practice designed to awaken the body and mind. We begin with a gentle warm-up, a series of rhythmic movements that open the shoulders, neck, and spine. This prepares the body for a continuous 16-minute flow where we seamlessly link poses with the breath, building strength, improving circulation, and cultivating a sense of mindful presence. The practice culminates in a relaxing cool-down, allowing you to settle into a state of calm and integration. Sun is a perfect way to start your morning, leaving you feeling energized, centered, and ready to shine.

Milky Way
Milky Way has a focus to stimulate body parts that regulate our blood pressure, improving circulation, and evoking a sense of deep calm, spaciousness, and expansive rhythms. We find a smooth connection between breath and postures in alternating poses in gentle, rhythmic movements, promoting circulation without increasing arousal. In calming postures, we practice longer holds to activate our body systems that lower stress, reduce heart rate, expand blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more evenly. In Milky Way, we can train our internal system to adapt to changes in body position to invigorate without overstimulation. This course concludes to a deep and wholesome relaxation, ideal right before sleep.
